The radio is about “Bacon salt”. It is a kind of salt having a taste like bacon. The inventor got the idea from the bacon restaurant. He is a bacon lover. So the idea to have something make everything taste like bacon came up. Even if he did not go the restaurant, I think he would still have the idea, because he is the kind of innovating person. To be successful, I think he should have some business expert to help him, because beside the product there are lots things to do to provide and sell them.
I would not invest to the product. First, the trend in food industry is organic foods. More and more people are considering a healthier eating style. I do not think there are much potential for manmade foods. Second, there are millions kinds of foods in this world. Most people just try everything as they can. The market is pretty competitive.
