Words can be powerful and somehow can affect the writer and eventually the readers. I never wrote an angry email before and I was surprised when reading these 3 articles, to know that they are people who use email as a medium to express their emotions and frustrations. I like how Shugars wrote his farewell email by sharing those funny moments he had while working for Google. It's likely more pleasant to receive farewell email from this kind of people rather than from people who just simply write when their emotions are taking over themselves.
Writing can't precisely expressing your emotions and feeling without the right words. However, the interpretation of the writing could be different as we all read in our own intonation. Looking at the "Boss's Angry Email' article, Neal's email to his manager expressed his disappointment sarcastically. I think there are better ways to initiate the problems rather than exploded like that. On the other hand, the manager may or may not take the email positively by taking it as a challenge to fix those problems.
